How you can help - Volunteer your time.

We pay travel and lunch expenses if you are able to help us on a regular basis. (APO) have a variety of volunteering opportunities for people of all backgrounds. You do not need to be HIV positive to join us.

Induction and supervision is provided for all volunteering roles, and we can assist you to develop professional skills that are transferable to paid employment. They may attend workshops or courses, when spaces are available.

Current Volunteering Opportunities

We need a receptionist, a part-time administrator and two out-reach workers. Ability to work with minimum supervision and good verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to maintain confidentiality is required, as is a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You should have either experience/ qualifications, or be willing to work towards this.
